F.A.C.E.S. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising funds to directly support Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, education, services, and treatment for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The Board of Directors of F.A.C.E.S. considers it a privilege to work alongside these children and their families. Today, approximately 1 in 31 children in the United States is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Our primary focus is serving children and families throughout the Greater Houston area. We strive to be a voice for these children—many of whom are non-speaking or have limited verbal communication. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based treatment approach supported by more than 70 years of scientific research. ABA focuses on increasing meaningful skills and positive behaviors while celebrating each child's successes. Through individualized, data-driven instruction, skills are broken down into manageable steps and taught using positive reinforcement and proven teaching strategies. Founded in 2006, F.A.C.E.S. provides scholarship funding to families who demonstrate financial need through our application process. Over the past 20 years, we have awarded more than $3.5 million in scholarships, helping hundreds of local children receive the critical ABA therapy services they need to thrive. We are also proud to offer scholarships to individuals pursuing certification in Applied Behavior Analysis, helping strengthen the future workforce serving children with autism. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of businesses, community partners, and individual donors to continue our mission. We respectfully ask you to consider partnering with F.A.C.E.S. through a sponsorship or donation. Your support directly impacts local children and families by helping remove financial barriers to essential autism services and treatment. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law, and a donation receipt will be provided for your records. Thank you in advance for your consideration and commitment to children and families affected by autism spectrum disorder. We look forward to the opportunity to partner with you and make a lasting difference in our community.

FACES Autism provides hope and evidence-based services by providing ABA scholarships to families without sufficient resources to cover the costs. In 2025, scholarships were awarded to 94 Houston area children with autism totaling $337,660. ABA is a treatment approach that focuses on increasing appropriate behaviors, celebrating successes, and minimizing attention and energy on inappropriate behavior. ABA therapy is a data-driven system of teaching that emphasizes breaking down skills into their component parts and teaching each one through prompting and reinforcement. By building skills in a coordinated fashion, ABA has been shown to "rewire" brain circuitry in individuals with autism spectrum disorder. However, a typical protocol costs as much as $3,000 - $10,000 per year, making this powerful intervention out of reach for many families.

Here’s the updated version with the coach training/certification piece added: SpectrumOne Texas provides adaptive sports and fitness coaching for children with autism, developmental differences, and neurodivergent learning needs. We currently serve families in the Greater Houston and Greater San Antonio areas, with plans to expand into more Texas cities soon. Our coaches bring structured, ABA-informed sessions directly to the environments where children are most comfortable, including homes, parks, schools, clinics, and community spaces. What makes SpectrumOne unique is that we are not just teaching sports. We use sports and fitness as a pathway to build confidence, communication, emotional regulation, following directions, social engagement, motor skills, and independence. Each session is designed around the individual athlete, their goals, their support needs, and the way they learn best. We offer adaptive coaching in basketball, soccer, football, general fitness, and movement-based sessions focused on strength, coordination, balance, endurance, agility, and confidence-building. Our coaches are carefully selected for their experience in youth development, sports, fitness, education, ABA, or neurodivergent support. Many of our coaches have backgrounds or certifications such as RBT experience, CPR/First Aid, youth coaching, fitness training, or hands-on experience working with children with autism and developmental needs. Every coach also receives SpectrumOne training on session structure, safety, communication support, behavior-aware coaching, parent updates, and how to adapt activities to each athlete’s learning style. Families choose SpectrumOne when traditional sports programs feel too fast, too crowded, or not flexible enough for their child. Our approach gives athletes a supportive space to learn, move, connect, and grow at their own pace while giving families a practical way to add structured physical activity into their child’s routine. Our goal is simple: make sports and fitness more accessible, meaningful, and successful for neurodivergent athletes across Texas.
